Roskilde festival spilleplan

Roskilde festival is on today. Again this year, about 100 000 people will meet and listen to more than 179 bands for a week. And this year I’m not in, I’ll explain the reason(s) in another blog after I’ve taken some Xanax®. Xanax makes me relax …Anyways, I thought I could still give some suggestions about the bands to see and what to do in Roskilde. First of all I have to say that I would rather see bands and artists I’ve never heard of than seeing big names. Listening to people around about a band or reading some reviews can give some hints.Here’s my plan:Thursday: BOOTY COLOGNE (to see), JENS LEKMAN, BLACKSMITH RECORDS , NOSTALGIA 77 and end at Cosmopol.Friday: STONES THROW RECORDS , MURDER, KATATONIA, KONONO N°1, TRENTEMØLLER, CSS, COLD WAR KIDS, THE CONGOSSaturday: BAND ANE, SONIC JUNIOR, THOMAS DYBDAHL, DARKO RUNDEK & CARGO ORKESTAR, LONEY, DEAR, THE WHITEST BOY ALIVE, FANFARE CIOCARLIA and end at Astoria for more dancing.Sunday (I’ll be there??): BADUN, BEIRUT, SEUN KUTI & EGYPT ‘80, ARCTIC MONKEYS (missed them last year), LAURENT GARNIER, BASEMENT JAXX, KENNETH BAGER feat. JULEE CRUISE, JUSTICEFunny enough, I found Sunday being the best day of all. So maybe it heps to accept that I wasn’t totally part of it this year. The plan given above is also very depending on my mood. I might skip a happy jumping concert if I feel more like singer/songwriter atmosphere, and vice versa.See my posts from last year to have an idea on how it usually goes for me.
